A LIP reader has revealed Prince Louis’ reaction to the amazing Red Arrows flypast and Kate’s sweet chat with Charles.
As the magnificent Royal Air Force jets flew over the Royal Family on Buckingham Palace balcony, young Louis, six, couldn’t help but watch in awe.

An excitable Louis shouted: “Papa, Papa, Papa, look at all that colour!,” as Wills responded: “Yes!”
Once the display came to a close, Charles and Camilla waved to crowds of “so many people”.
Kate turned to the King and said: “There are so many people!”
King Charles replied: “Yes!,” according to Gaby.
Gaby also caught a cute moment with Louis and sister Charlotte as she told him to “put your hands down” during the national anthem.
Earlier this morning, George, 10, appeared eager to catch his mum’s attention, telling her: “Look over there ma,” as they travelled down the Mall with Prince William, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six.
Gaby added Kate and William’s eldest “looked so happy” as the family waved and smiled at fans during the procession.
In full mum-mode, brave Kate was desperate to show her three youngsters all of fans’ loving banners and flags.
It comes as…
- Crowds erupted as Princess Kate stepped onto the balcony
- Cheeky Prince Louis has tried opening a palace window
- Charlotte playfully tells little brother Prince Louis to ‘stop’
- King Charles has braved the pouring rain to salute troops
- Kate shares adorable behind-the-scenes footage
She told George, Charlotte and Louis: “Right, look at that,” before turning her head in unison with her kids.
King Charles also beamed from his carriage with Queen Camilla by his side.
As the showers appeared to dry up over London, he told Camilla: “It’s brightening up.”
A cute Prince Louis was snapped pulling faces from inside the carriage as he made mum Princess Kate and his siblings laugh.
Cheeky chappy Louis directly looked at cameras, giving them an adorable smirk, as he continues to capture the hearts of the nation.
And his antics didn’t stop once he arrived at the palace.
Louis tried opening a window and fiddled with curtain cords on a balcony next to adoring mum Kate.
Thousands of fans had already started lining the streets this morning to catch a glimpse of the Royal Family – including Kate, 42, who has made a comeback after her cancer diagnosis.
She beamed on Saturday as she made her first public appearance in months with doting husband Prince William and their kids at her side.
Kate looked stunning dressed in white as she laughed and chatted away to her family.
The Waleses engaged, waved and smiled at adoring fans during their journey.
It was the first time the Princess had headed along to a Royal event since Christmas, and her cancer diagnosis – and she had a smile ear-to-ear.
Duty & family mean everything to Kate
By ARTHUR EDWARDS, Sun Royal Photographer
THE Royals were one big happy family on the Buckingham Palace balcony as the Princess of Wales made an emotional one-off appearance.
This was a brave return to public life for Catherine, who has valiantly battled cancer for the last three months.
She did not have to be at Trooping the Colour and no one would have blamed her for staying away.
But she still chose to attend.
It is a measure of just how much her duty and family mean to her.
I have not seen the Princess of Wales in person since her last public engagement on Christmas Day, more than six months ago.
Yesterday she looked very well and, crucially, very healthy too.
While the photo released on Friday by Kensington Palace was a solemn snap, yesterday Catherine beamed with joy – her smile will undoubtedly warm the nation’s heart.
Accompanied by William, who has soldiered on alone while supporting his sick wife, and her adorable children, the whole group looked relaxed and united throughout one of the most important days of the year for the Royal Family.
It was also lovely to see Catherine exchanging words with her father-in-law King Charles.
Both of them battled hard to return to their duties and even through a long lens you can tell they have genuine warmth for each other.
The only downside was the classically British weather.
It was cold.
It was wet.
My jacket and my camera were soaked.
Next Thursday will be the longest day of the year but the driving rain made me feel like I was in the middle of January.
Yet the moment the Princess emerged to wave and smile, it made bearing the downpour worthwhile.
There were a lot of smart outfits on show – it was a military parade after all – but the Princess of Wales’ stunning white dress was a cut above everyone else’s.
Almost every camera there was fixed on her and with exceptional taste she picked out a dress that could be seen down The Mall by thousands of well-wishers.
This was a remarkable return by a remarkable woman and I’m sure it would’ve meant the world to have her family by her side.
So it’s no surprise that she didn’t stop smiling throughout.
The family made their way along the Mall in The Glass Coach, closely following behind the King and Queen Camilla.
The King appeared regal as he gave a royal salute in his first Trooping since his cancer diagnosis.
Princess Anne also held a starring role today – which had a touching link to her brother.
The Princess Royal appeared to have trouble with her horse at one point, but managed to keep it under control.
Prince William, who looked dapper in his red Irish Guards uniform, proudly donning medals on his chest, beamed at crowds, too.
Well-wishers held Union Jacks high as they squished together along the Mall – donning crowns and fascinators atop their heads.
The streets were coloured red, white and blue, as fans waited patiently to see the Princess of Wales.
Crowds erupted this afternoon as Princess Kate stepped onto the balcony with Wills and her kids at her side.
The day had been plagued by rain but downpours couldn’t dampen Kate’s shine today as she beamed alongside her family.
Fans watched on in awe as the Princess joked and laughed with her children.
Princess Kate earlier shared sweet behind-the-scenes footage of her with George, Charlotte and Louis leaving for Trooping the Colour.
