As part of this, Princess Kate has over 10 pieces loaned or gifted by the late Queen, which are said to be worth a staggering £61.8million.
These include the Queen Mary’s diamond choker, Cartier Halo tiara, Nizam of Hyderbad necklace, Maple Leaf brooch, New Zealand Fern brooch, and Royal Family Order brooch.
And don’t forget, Kate has a number of jewellery pieces that have been given to her from Prince William and King Charles over the years, which could go to Charlotte.
Kate has been lucky enough to receive at least two items worth £403,045 from her father-in-law King Charles; a diamond bracelet and a yellow and white gold jewellery set.
DIANA’S LEGACY
Kate also has a number of beautiful pieces from Princess Diana, which are said to be worth a total of £16.5million alone – and these are likely to be passed down to the young princess.
Princess Charlotte, nine, could also one day be the owner of Kate’s iconic £300,000 sapphire engagement ring, which was once Diana’s too.
In addition to this, Princess Kate also now has Diana’s South Sea pearl earrings, Collingwood earrings, the Lover’s knot tiara, the Saudi sapphire suite and her three-strand pearl bracelet.
Before her death, Diana wrote a “letter of wishes”, which explained: “I would like you to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it.”
LILIBET’S £980K JEWELLERY COLLECTION
Meghan Markle also has a number of jewellery items from Dianas’s collection, which could be passed down to her daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The young tot recently turned three – and is already in line to more riches than the average person can dream of.
She is set to receive a staggering £980,000 worth of jewellery from the Duchess of Sussex in years to come.
Meghan has an impressive collection of jewellery and designer watches that she is expected to hand down to her daughter in the future.
Around£650,000 of the items have come from Princess Diana’s precious collection, while others were purchased by the Suits star.

Lilibet could also end up with Meghan’s ‘The Asprey Aquamarine ring’ which used to belong to Princess Diana.
The ring is said to be worth a jaw-dropping £75,000 to £85,000 and was given to Meghan as a gift from Prince Harry.
Who inherited Princess Diana's jewellery?
AFTER her death, Diana's sons Prince William and Prince Harry were left three-quarters of her £21 million estate — with the other quarter going to her 17 godchildren.
In a special “letter of wishes”, Diana explained that she was leaving her jewellery to her sons’ future wives.
The letter reads: “I would like you to allocate all my jewellery to the share to be held by my sons, so that their wives may, in due course, have it or use it.
“I leave the exact division of the jewellery to your discretion.”
Some of Diana’s most iconic gems were on loan from the royal collection, while others were not included in her estate.
MARKLE’S SPARKLES
Meanwhile, Meghan’s jewels also include her glittering wedding day jewellery and lavish gifts from Prince Harry.
When Meghan and Harry tied the knot in their lavish 2018 royal wedding, the Duchess of Sussex was seen wearing a breathtaking Cartier bracelet, estimated to be worth £150,000.
Leading Diamond Expert, Maxwell Stone, said: “Worn by Meghan on her wedding day, this would be a heart-warming piece for Lilibet to inherit that she could possibly pair with her own wedding dress in the future.”
As with all iconic royal pieces, the value could increase dramatically over time given its famous wearers.

Before Lilibet was even born, Meghan had a sweet gift planned for daughter and the story behind it is so sweet.
Back in 2015, Meghan said she hopes to one day pass down her then-£4,800 Cartier watch to her daughter.
Meghan bought the pricey Cartier Tank Française after learning Suits – the television programme she starred in – had been commissioned for a third season.
The Duchess previously told Hello: “When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season – which, at the time, felt like such a milestone – I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version [of the watch].”
She continued: “I had it engraved on the back, ‘To M.M. From M.M.’
“And I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them.”
