THE Princess of Wales’ parents Carole and Michael Middleton have made their first appearance since their daughter’s cancer diagnosis.
The couple have attended the second day of Royal Ascot today.

She made her own return to public life during Trooping the Colour on Saturday.
Carole, 69, sported a £350 light blue frock from Self-Portrait.
She has reportedly been supporting Kate through her cancer treatment at her home in Windsor.
Michael and Carole were last seen at their daughter’s annual Royal Carols at Christmas at Westminster Abbey in December.
Three months later, Kate announced she had cancer in a heartbreaking video.
The royal was taking a much-earned break after her three-hour appearance over the weekend.
She brought joy and relief to the nation as she appeared in a carriage with her three children and on Buckingham Palace balcony with hubby Wills and the King and Queen.
Kensington Palace confirmed after her exploits on Saturday at the King’s Birthday Parade, which saw her back on full view to millions for almost three hours, she will not join the family at other huge events this week.
The rest of the Royal Family were out in force to hold a spectacular Garter Day at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, on Sunday.
The Princess of Wales, who in a statement said she has “good days and bad days” did not attend the festival.
William, President of the FA, is jetting to Frankfurt on Thursday to watch England’s group game with Denmark and the following day is his 42nd birthday.
It is thought Kate will spend time with her children and work from home after saying last week she found it a “joy to engage with school life” and “spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity”
Last week, Kensington Palace had confirmed that Kate had found comfort working from home despite her ongoing cancer struggle.
It is expected in coming weeks she will hold more meetings with palace staff and those from the Royal Foundation and Centre for Early Childhood.
These meetings will feature in the Court Circular which detail all official work by members of the Royal Family.
A spokesman for the princess said the palace would only give an update on face-to-face work meetings when appropriate.
And despite Kate announcing she hopes to “join a few public engagements over the summer”, the palace has yet to announce or confirm where she will appear next.
